WEST ELM x MARCUS SAMUELSSON
To celebrate the debut of the West Elm x Marcus Samuelsson collaboration we were given the unique opportunity to temporarily transform the iconic Red Rooster Harlem restaurant into an entirely different venue that showcased the aesthetics of the collection, while maintaining the vibrant heart and soul of space. We utilized the rich color palette from Marcus’s vision and created peel-and-stick wallpaper in burgundy, and a special vinyl wall in one of his signature patterns, to set the stage for the product to shine. Creative vinyls, a chair sculpture, video projections, a switch of of lighting fixtures and elegant tables, chairs and place settings all came together to form a brand new environment to inspire our guests.
Everyone was wined and dined with delectable treats, while being entertained by The Soapbox Presents. To cap the night off and send attendees on their way with more than just a memory of the night, we created to-go lunch boxes that were packed with the Red Rooster’s mouth-watering cornbread (wrapped in custom food safe paper of course!), a mini jam and knife and one of West Elm x Marcus Samuelsson’s printed cloth napkins.
